Interested companies/organizations can submit their extended abstract until Feb 25, 2013 and their session will be confirmed within 2 weeks after the submission.

 Important dates:

  • Due date of extended abstract and speaker biography submission:
    25 Feb 2013 (Thailand Time) 15 March 2013
  • Confirmation of extended abstract acceptance: within
    2 weeks after the complete submission of extended abstract
  • Conference advance registration: April 2, 2013
  • Conference date: May 15-17, 2013
  • Presentation schedule: to be announced.

To celebrate ECTI-CON reaching its tenth in the series of annual international conference as organized by Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI) Association, Thailand, this year we have introduced a new special industry session at ECTI-CON 2013 with specially selected venue in Krabi Province, one of the most popular nature-lover tourist attraction cities in Thailand. The objective of ECTI-CON special industry sessions is to widen opportunities for local and international industries as well as academia to exchange ideas on active research and development topics that are relevant to Thailand, ASEAN and global contexts. 

Scope of our interests cover (but not limited to) the following themes:

  • Communication and information technology platforms
    for future smart city and smart communities
  •  Future internet technologies
  •  Sustainable energy management systems
  •  Green engineering technologies 
  •  Intelligent devices and mobile computing
  • Application of multimedia and signal processing
    technologies
  • Smart power grid and renewable energy technogies
  • Intelligent transportation systems
  • Trends in Thai, ASEAN and global telecommunication
    and broadcasting industries

 

Submission procedure and instruction for speakers :

  • Interested companies/ organizations can submit extended
    abstract files (in PDF format) by emailing directly to Assistant Professor Dr Chaiyachet Saivichit (ECTI-CON 2013 Special Industry
    Session Chair) at <chaiyachet.s@chula.ac.th>
  • Extended abstracts, after notified confirmation,
    will be included into ECTI-CON 2013 proceedings CD, but will     not be
    included into the IEEEXplore
  • Each presentation must be planned within 15 minutes
    + 5 minutes for Q&A
  • Presentation handouts can be published in the
    conference website at     www.ecti2013.org after the conference period, only
    if the speakers want to share their information to general publics.
